What is the cost of living when studying at university?+

Will the university help me to find part-time work?+

What is the class size / mix at UniSA?+
The class size / mix can vary from program to program, however generally speaking, tutorial rooms and computer pools are usually a maximum of 30 students. Lecture size can vary depending on if the course is common across multiple programs or a
course only taught in one program. Mix of students can also vary. Some programs are popular with particular cohorts / nationalities. On average given that we have almost 32,000 students of which 6,000 are international students, the mix is around
20% International to 80% domestic students.
What undergraduate entry requirements does the University of South Australia have?+
The In order to be considered for entry to an undergraduate degree at UniSA, you must have successfully completed an Australian Year 12 program or its equivalent in your home country,
or a recognised Pathway or Foundation Studies program to the required standard.
Some degrees may also require you to have completed certain courses to be eligible for entry. For more detailed information, find your degree on our website.
Are there any scholarships for prospective international students?+
The University of South Australia offers scholarships for prospective international students. Here are two which may be of especial interest and value to you:
• Vice Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship (value: 50% fee reduction for up to 4yrs of Full-Time study, Australian High Distinction average in previous studies)
• International Merit Scholarship (value: 25% fee reduction for the first year of study, Australian credit average in previous studies)
As part of the application process, once you have provided evidence of prior academic studies your eligibility for these scholarships will automatically be assessed by an Admissions Officer.
Please note that these scholarships are available for specific degrees only and are not available to students claiming advanced standing, recognition of prior learnings or credit towards their University of South Australia degree (whether at the time of offer or subsequently).

Do I need to use an Education Agent to apply to the University of South Australia?+
Depending on your country of citizenship, you may be required to apply through a registered Education Agent unless you are already here in Australia. You can view a full list of countries by citizenship here.
Experience has shown us some applicants have a much higher chance of securing a visa if they are using the services of an Education Agent. Using an agent can also assist you to meet our Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirement which is of benefit when applying for a student visa.
